Project Discovery Program Coordinator
The Project Discovery Program Coordinator performs human support work by coordinating and administering the Project Discovery Program in local high schools, hosting workshops, providing support to students to assist them in transitioning into post-secondary education, military, and/or workforce, processing student applications to determine program eligibility, establishing and maintaining community partnerships for referrals and to leverage resources, maintaining files and records, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the supervision of the Economic Services Manager.
Bachelor’s degree with coursework in education, human services, or related field and moderate experience in providing academic and social support, grant writing, program management, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate must possess thorough knowledge in preparing reports and other types of correspondence, thorough knowledge in the use of standard office equipment and associated software, the ability to make arithmetic computations; the ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages, the ability to relate to and communicate with youth and their families, the ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form, the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with governmental officials, residents, the general public and associates.

Violence Prevention Educator
The Violence Prevention Educator will develop and implement prevention programming designed to address intimate partner violence and teen dating violence. The position will develop outreach and awareness campaigns designed to reduce incidents of interpersonal violence and reach the most vulnerable populations. The position will maintain confidential files and records, prepare reports for funders, and provide limited crisis intervention as assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Violence Prevention Coordinator and Program Manager.
Bachelor’s Degree with coursework including psychology, social work, or related field and moderate experience in teaching program development, prevention education, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
